2008 Du Run Run-Duathlon
I will be in La Crosse, WI in mid-April. I am looking for a running partner to run about 5 miles (at about 9 to 10 minute mile pace) in the mornings. I’ll be staying at the Holiday Inn on Pearl Street.

Thanks!!

as a note: Is the Bridge on Cass Street (I beleive that's the street) going to petibone Park very runny friendly? Thanks!

Sorry, I'm on the other side of the state. If you're ever near Milwaukee, though.....

Hi there,
I'm from La Crosse. Unfortunately, I have to be to work by 7:00am. Might be able to sneak one in that week. When in April? In town for business?

There are a couple different ways you can go from the Holiday Inn. Going South ... They've actually got the Cass Street Bridge closed to pedestrian traffic, but you just go down another block to the Cameron Street bridge (the new bridge) and that'll take you across the river to Pettibone park. Make a couple loops in the park and back ...

Another way would be to go North through Riverside Park ... onto the Marsh trails ... asphalt running / walking trail. Nice area.

Tim
