LaCrosse Marathon - 2009 (Read 57 times)

This has been in the planning stages for quite sometime... They had a news conf yesterday announcing the LaCrosse Fitness Festival for May 2-3 2009. Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 5k, bike criterion etc.

The gentleman who heads up LaCrosse Park and Rec moved to LaCrosse a couple years ago from Dayton OH where he was involved in the setting up and running of the USAF marathon. Another guy who was involved in the beginning of the Chicago Marathon recently retired to the LaCrosse area and has agreed to assist in getting this off the ground.

We're excited!! Mark your calendars!
