1/2 mile. On a trail. Part gravel trail. Part wild grass beside. Wow! My feet were a bit tingling. Not too much I don't think though.

I just had my first outside exclusively barefoot run today. (Did a trail section once last week. Everything else has been on a treadmill. ) I ran on a fairly smooth paved walking/running trail in a park, and it was fantastic! My feet didn't hurt, though I did scuff them up a bit and need to take it easy on them for a few days. Silly me hasn't managed to break the habit of scuffling my feet as I run...
It was a lot of fun.

I just had mine, too. Saturday. I did 1.2 miles. But, mine was pavement. But, I did it. I have to admit, it was sort of scary at first. I kept thinking I would stub my toes. Never did.
