I think I can summarize. It exists. If we want to send them a text telling them where we are at any given point (so they can try to coordinate when to expect us) we can. If we aren't capable of that, that's okay too. It'll all work out.
That's how I'm interpreting it, at least.
All you have to do is type "a 1030" to tell us that you were at the start finish at 10:30.
Type b 247 to tell us you are at the opposite end at 2:47.
