i'm drunk.. just thought i'd mention that.
In order to see the truth, sometimes you have to loose an eye.

oh shit...still up with the cat...
still up with the cat. good luck circle north!
I've signed up for tracking all 10 runners, but no results yet. Anyone have any 5-mile results yet?
Older, slower, and trying to keep up with Tall Dave.
Jim Macphee at the 10K in 42:51.
Pace 6:54 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:00:45. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:04:29.
So it seems the splits are NOT every 5 miles as the runner tracking website says ("The times are recorded every five miles and sent to family members' cell phones.")
Should be very interesting to see if Jim can hold pace or even run negative splits and bring home a sub-3 PR.
Michelle Sherman at the 10K in 47:20. Pace 7:37 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:19:43. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:25:27.
Doug and Lance are holding hands at 10K:
Doug Beaulieu at the 10K in 47:45. Pace 7:41 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:21:25. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:27:43.
Lance Hoenig at the 10K in 47:45. Pace 7:41 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:21:28. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:27:45.
Eric Gadbois at the 10K in 48:56. Pace 7:52 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:26:27. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:32:17.
I'm a little surprised he's not going for the 3:25 pace, but, then again, he was probably slowed down by the crowd at the start, so I still expect him to finish at 3:25 or better.
Looks like the old man is on pace for a huge PR. His Sugarloaf PR was 3:39:14. I was mistaken in thinking it was 3:32 when I posted my expectations for him today. (Sorry about that, Tom.) Kudos to him for such a strong performance so far!
Tom Gadbois at the 10K in 50:24. Pace 8:07 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:32:37. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:38:28.
U R insane! 3:30? This old man is just tryin to finish this think. You aren't draggin me into this pressure to perform thing!
As I said above, my 3:30 prediction mistakenly assumed you would shave 2 to 4 minutes off your Sugarloaf PR. As it stands, you are on pace to better that mark by nearly 7 minutes. Not bad, old man!
Looks like Michael is also on pace for a huge PR (current is 3:37):
Michael Lecompte at the 10K in 49:21. Pace 7:56 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:28:13. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:35:51.
This has me concerned. I expected Rob to cross the 10K mat at the same time as Doug:
Robert Kaberle at the 10K in 50:36. Pace 8:09 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:33:31. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:43:30.
Sub-4 for this old man would be fine by him, I think.
Dick Lheureux at the 10K in 55:06. Pace 8:52 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:52:30. Estimated Time of Arrival: 11:05:38.
Unfortunately, Jimbo has slowed somewhat. Hope he still gets the 3:05 (NYC guaranteed entry).
Jim Macphee at the Half in 1:31:46. Pace 7:00 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:03:30. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:07:15.
Look at this!
Doug Beaulieu at the Half in 1:40:07. Pace 7:38 min/Mile. Estimated Finish Time: 3:20:13. Estimated Time of Arrival: 10:26:31.
