so i get up this morning all bitchy, my kinked neck is forcing me to take pills when i am trying to detox from the past 3 years. d's home and i have to clean my dads place and pick up rubber and adhesive go to a conference and then finally get to the grill. damn it, i have to shower in there too. go to make my fuckin coffee and there is none made. so i fuckin have to start the coffee maker and i'm cleaning up left over dishes and shit in the sink and notice my coffee maker aint doing anything. "what the fuck's wrong with this now?" play with the buttons and all the little sensor thingys...nothing. unplug...replug...nothing. dump the water out and spill it all over the fucking counter cause the plug was in and i ran out of cord - "oh fuck you!"...flick the switches again, thought i heard a *poof* from it...then nothing. gave it a smack...*tsssst*...nothing. "come on!" picked it up and slammed it on the counter *bam bam bam!* poured the water in and it worked...."fuck you!"

Can hair can turn gray over night?

Hair turns gray slowly over time. As you get older, the production of your color pigment slows down and gray hair begins to appear.

My Halloween costume entitled me to this bit of medical information, apparently from Lance Armstrong:

Your hair is the color it is because of melanin, the same substance that gives skin its color. As you age, the amount of melanin in each hair shaft decreases, leading to gray and eventually white hair. Gray hair does not actually "turn" gray. Each hair strand grows for about two to four years, according to Rhonda B. Graham, staff writer for Aetna InteliHealth. After a two- to four-month resting stage, a hair falls out and is then replaced by a new hair. You lose between 50 to 100 individual hair strands each day, and the pigmented hairs are gradually replaced by gray hairs as you age.

                       Not always.

                        how in holy hell....am i...supposed to...thin out...when i'm in a resturant ...3 days a week?

it's really fucking with my ability to get trashed too. Angry

                          "Beep, Beep!"

                            Yikes...

Meanwhile, according to the Heart editorial, another large study found no mortality benefit for those who ran faster than 8 miles per hour, while those who ran slower reaped significant mortality benefits.

This paragraph is the only good news for me!! Guess there is no need to speed up!

Life's journey is not to arrive safely to the grave in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!

"If you are running more than 15 miles a week, you are doing it for some reason other than health," said Dr. Cooper, adding that he suspects—without hard evidence—that extreme exercise can render a body more susceptible to cancer.

Now this running is just another bad habit to add to my list. I could not believe it when I read this in the WSJ yesterday.  Oh well I tried to do something good for myself
