                        I have had a tough few days, not running probably helped make it worse.  Some of it was work, some of it the weather which prevented run, some of it my own lack of a desire to run.  Tomorrow the weather clears, tomorrow my work schedule will allow, all I have to do is not look at the 4 days off and just start a new and move on.

                          Michael, I'd suggest a different view of rest.  I think it helps if it is well timed.  Looking at your log, you had a 60-mile week immediately following two weeks of 30-40 miles.  That's a big increase week over week.

                              Michael, I'd suggest a different view of rest.  I think it helps if it is well timed.  Looking at your log, you had a 60-mile week immediately following two weeks of 30-40 miles.  That's a big increase week over week.

                               

                              True, sometimes life or fate just lines up right, maybe this rest period was just pure luck at the right time. Either way, it is done and time to move on. Can't sweat the small stuff.
