Hows everyones training coming so far?
I have had a flawless first two "real" weeks. I am really excited to see what kind of numbers i can get come 2013.
I hit a rough patch this week, though, I have a stomach bug and that caused a few problems. Hopefully it is gone tomorrow.

Why are you doing speedwork this early?
I have brought my milage up to 40 at about 7:00 pace. Every week I am doing s 4 mile tempo at 6:00 pace.
Goals- Sub-5 mile; sub-11 3200; sub-2:20 800
I've been doing 50 mpw consistently with 3 strength days and 2 swimming days a week. 4:15 might actually be doable this spring. I did a 5 mile tempo at a 5:30 pace that was moderate a couple days ago. Also did 3x1000@5:02 pace then 800 @ 4:40 pace and 400 @4:16 pace quite easily.

Why so fast?
It hasn't felt to hard. But I am starting to slow down a little bit.
