Well, I decided that I should find a home here on Running Ahead. As I'm just officially begining a HM training program, I decided this forum would be a good fit. I'll be running my my second HM in 10 weeks (Oct 20). I ran a very hilly half this spring in 2:04 (9:30 or thereabouts) which ended up being a very leisurly pace for me. I didn't follow any true race training other than my own half thought out plan. This coming HM is a semi trail run and I would like to do it in under 2 hours ( a 9 minute mile or better.) I chose to follow runnerworlds intermediate hm training plan. It appears that the difference in training is many more short, fast runs and only 1 long run each week. In spring I did more mid and long distances than fast runs. I'm looking forward to exchanging training experiences and all that with everyone.
