Roads were made for journeys...
Fully a third of the scheduled workouts are done... and I don't feel any more ready for this long race than I was a little over a month ago when I started. My "long" run is up to 5 1/2 miles. It's 6 miles next week, and I feel I'm ready for it. More than ready for it. Bring it on! I'm concerned that I won't get used to long runs quickly enough, but 6 is moderately long for me and it doesn't seem like it'll be too bad, so I guess I'll be okay... I hope!
