Clean up & updated calendar:

Do you have permissions to clean up this thread (i.e. delete all duplicate posts?)

Looks good Matt!

However this is why I was saying people could update the Calendar and then you could apply the Calendar updates to a single thread/post rather than having to sort through and clean up the thread.

Your sticky could say something like:  "To see your race on this list of upcoming races, add your race to the Calendar.  Updates will be applied every Sunday"  (Or whatever day is most convenient for you.)  This way your sticky thread would really need one post!  The post with the dates and link to the calendar.

I added 2/27/10 Cowtown Half Marathon - but think I got it backwards as to how they were being done. Couldn't figure out how to fix it...

Being new as the Administrator, i haven't tried to clean up the postins, but I assume that I have that capability as I see a "CENSER" button now that I never used to see.

I'll review and see what I can clean up

Good catch on the Turkey Trot, it's actually the 26th, i pulled the date out of my ____ last night without a calendar in front of me.

Couple of questions for Larry:

Do you have permissions to clean up this thread (i.e. delete all duplicate posts?)

is your Turkey Trot really on the day before Thanksgiving?

Edit: Added bobev's Cowtown & started table (will finish later, if I can get it to work)

I tried and didn't have any success.  I'm not sure what the Censor button does, so I dropped Eric a message asking him.

Matt,

I tried to enter my scheduled races but couldn't get into the calendar.

Could you enter them for me.

On January 1, 2010 I'm registered to run the "Resolution run" 5K in Edmonton

and on Feb 14, 2010 I'm registered to run the "Hypothermic 1/2 marathon" in Edmonton

Thanks

Lu

I've got an idea that might work, for the list of races to be at the top of the thread...  I'm only taking a guess here though...

Whoever is going to update it, (I'm assuming it's Matt) could restart the thread with the list as the first entry and create it as a sticky...  Everyone then can add other entries to the thread, and Matt just has to modify the original post...

Maybe this will work better than trying to delete the entries out of the original thread, which can then be unstuck where it will eventually get lost among all the older posts...

Thoughts?

I posted this in another thread and then noticed this one.  Here are my next 2 planned halfs.

March 06 - Corporate Cup  - Goal Under 1:50:00

April 10   - Charlotte Racefest - Goal, 2 minutes faster than corporate cup.

If training goes well, Grandfather mountain full on July 10th.  Picked "One of America's Toughest Marathons" on purpose as my first, as it can only get easier from there.  And I'll have no time expectations, just finish under the official cutoff at 5:00 hours
