    Kathy - How did you get on yesterday?? 

    Sorry I didn't do an update before now...my run was out of town and by the time I got home we were into June and I didn't come back here to update!


    I am pleased at my efforts.  My official chip time was 2:18:28.  The temperature ended up being in the high teens (celsius) and it was overcast - ideal race conditions.  I planned on a 6:24 min/km pace to try to hit 2:15.  I went out too fast - 5k in 29:46 and 10 k in 1:02:09 and then I began to fade. My avg pace was 6:30 min/km for the whole race.  Otherwise I did everything I practiced in training. 


    With more training I will definitely be able to improve on my time!  Thanks for asking Matt!
