I'M BACK!! (Read 238 times)

Branson 70.3 finish!!

    I’M BACK!!!  Big grin

I had been a part of this group…but with my crazy schedule & all, I wasn’t around much (probably won’t do much other than lurk here though…post once in a while maybe).  Anyway, I am retiring from full marathons this fall (November will be my last full marathon).  When I’ve done marathons, I always seem strong until mile 14 to 16, then I just fall apart…so I’ve decided to stick with half’s, and just work on my speed for them.  Along with HM’s….I’m concentrating on 5k’s and triathlons.  If (repeat…IF) I ever do another full marathon, it’ll be part of an Ironman triathlon.

My next half marathon is Pikes Peak Ascent  (13.33 miles actually), but of course I ain’t doing that one for speed (it’ll probably take me 4 & ½ hours), but it’ll be so worth it.

Hope everyone is doing good and healthy!!!
