    Brains aint me forte

      Good morning runners!

I'm not sure what I'll get in today running wise.  I have 6 planned for my lunch hour but I have a lot of stuff going on.

Sending out speedy vibes for Marco, JenRosie and everyone else running Boston today.  I'm working from home today so my TV might accidentally get turned on while I'm working.

Good morning everyone!  I overslept, so I'll try to get a recovery run during lunch or after work.

And, I'll be sending positive thoughts Marco and JenRosie's way.  I hope they're feeling cool, calm, collected, and ready to run their best.

Scott, I actually have a t.v. in my office.  It's for monitoring the news but it occasionally surfs to other channels.  Smile

D_R, I missed your post.  Good morning to ya!

          Go figure

Morning all.  I can't wait to hear some Boston results; go Marco and Jen!  If any of you are looking to watch online and haven't found it yet, they're streaming it here at 9:30:  http://watchlive.baa.org/   I'm very curious to see what will happen in the women's elite race this year and if our American women can work their way up there.

I'm looking to run around 6-8 recovery type miles today.  I have a little soreness in my calves after 13 at MP, but nothing bad.  My knee feels pretty good too.

Scott...Have fun watching/working.  Good luck with the miles.

            Docket...Have a great 7.

Julia...It's hard doing the early thing every morning.  You deserved the extra sleep.  I hope you can get the miles in later.

            PRs:  Marathon (2:49xx; '13)  Half (1:25xx; '12) 10k (40:26; '11) 5mi (29:23; '13) 5k (17:33; '13)

Did my usual weekend thing, 12 miles with 8 at MP Friday evening, 8 easy Saturday morning, 18 Sunday at MP+40.  I like those nice easy long runs.  I'll do 8 after work today.

              Look luck BMers!

              thinkin about glory days

Good Morning.  I woke up early, but was too tired to run.  Now I'm watching the Boston Marathon online at work.  That will probably inspire me to get out for an easy 5-6 after work.

                Go Marco and Jen!

Marco's feed stops just by the 10km mark.  It stopped updating but as soon as I have information, I'll update here.

D_R, A guy in my club is live blogging the race and he's had some glitches with the tracking, too.

I'm really wishing I'd decided to run Boston this year. It was fun watching the coverage and reminiscing about the race. Hope Marco and Jen are making some good race memories today.

                        Off to a meeting..

I decided not to run today because of "stuff" but after watching the live stream of the race I told "stuff" to go take a flying leap and got in a nice five.

Thanks for the Marco updates Damaris!

I cannot stalk any more because the Java went crazy on this computer and the pages kept flashing.  So I had to restart and if I try again, the same thing will happen.  Bah.

He was on pace for 3:14 last time I saw.  Go, marco, go!
