      Good morning, all!

Marine Corps Marathon registration is today at noon.  Wishing everyone who wants to get in a speedy internet connection.

I'm doing something new today - a fartlek run.  I'm pretty sure I haven't done fartlek's since high school.  It doesn't seem like a hard workout but I'm sure I'll be surprised by how tough it really is.

Good morning!  My run today will depend on if I am able to register for MCM and how long it takes.  Good luck to anyone trying to register today!

        Just B.S.

Morning folks! Been doing the best I can to live a normal life but it only leaves a few minutes

each day for on-line time. I know I will never catch up on whats going on and hopefully can get

back to being a regular at some point.

I did a double yesterday, run/swim, because I knew there would be no time today. Then spent the rest

of the day consolidating two rooms of furniture into one room.

Moving day for my Aunt. Hubby, son and I are spending the day packing up her apartment and moving

everything to our house. Good thing we have a big house.Smile

And to top it all of it's snowing of course. 4-5 more inches today.

          Happy Spring!LOL

Well, today is a no-brainer.  Either I could run this morning before work in the dark, at 29F with a 20 mph wind, or run after work at 54F in bright sunshine with a moderate breeze.  I'll run later.

            Finally PRed!!!

              Morning everyone!

              Julia: Enjoy the fartlek run!

Scott: Good luck trying to get a run in.

B.S.: Good luck with your Aunt.

RVD: Wow, you must get way more wind than we do. Have a nice run later.

I ran 5 this morning, 3 with BoMF, the rest on the way to and from. It was chilly but fortunately not much wind. The moon was really awesome-looking. It was really low and looked huge. So cool! Group run at the store tonight, so I'll have to be careful not to eat too much pizza, especially since I'll probably only do the 4 mile route. But I guess getting 2 runs in will help with the calorie burning.

Good luck to everyone trying to register for MCM!

Hope everyone has a great day!

              Bad Ass

                Morning!  Happy Birthday, RVD!

9 miles tonight.  Stayed home to take care of Trixie.  Hoping she eats something.

I'll try registering for MCM.  Love that race.

It's always fucking hot in Miami!

barely have time to be on line except for in the morning and before bed at the hotel.  did 11 with 5.5 at GMP on the hotel TM.  I hated every bit of it.  I don't think I will be doing anymore at that pace over the next few weeks.  I am about 17 miles shy of the monthly PR.

                  Hope your Wednesday goes well.

                  Go figure

Hey everyone.  I'm looking for my usual double today, with my own run at lunch and then the group run this evening.  I'm hoping to get in 6x1 mile repeats, but we'll see how it turns out and I may adjust it based on how I feel.

Julia...Good luck with that fartlek run today.  Is it structured, or totally free-form?   I used to skip them completely because I thought they were dumb, but I think the ones in my plan this time were pretty useful and helped me adapt to faster running.  Good luck with your registration.

Scott...There's something funny about missing a run trying to register for another run lol.  I hope you get in.

Beth...Good luck with the move!  Hopefully the snow doesn't make it too miserable.  Nice swim/run yesterday.

RVD...Really, are ya sure?  Ha.  Have a good run later.

Swift...Sounds like a nice run with the BoMF group.  Have a good run later too.  My favorite food expression when I want to eat but shouldn't is, "Nothing tastes as good as skinny looks." (yeah, it's not real masculine)

Docket...Hope Trixie continues to improve.  Good luck with your running and registering.

Marco...Angry at MP huh?  I know what you mean, they're not fun.  Good luck finishing off those last 17.

                      1, 2, 3, SERVER CRASH

Jack, LOL! Indeed, it looks like the server is over-loaded.

Anyone else getting in? I have to go to the bathroom. Sad And, I can hear people outside my door. I can last maybe 15 more minutes.

The fartlek run was actually kind of challenging. It was a nice way to ease back into speedwork.

It's not looking good for me. Sad I have one open browser saying individual registration is on hold and another saying there's an unexpected error, i.e., the server is down. (Sigh).

Yup, me too.  I'm hoping that everyone has gotten the same error and no one has actually registered, like the three stooges syndrome.  I got to the signup page a few times but that crashed too.

                              Starting to sound like Chicago....

I'm in! And my wife too. I think everyone must have quit trying.
