And, I thought I slept late.  Stayed up too late after pizza and beer.  Now, since the weather is good I have several hours of yard work and general cleaning to do before going out to a friend's place for more food and beer.  I may just take a RD.

Swamped yesterday at work.  I actually got out there and harassed the traveling public for a bit.

Damaris is probably already done with her race today!

I'm up but may go back to bed.  Smile  I'm not particularly tired - just not feeling very motivated today.  I'm planning to do 4 or 5 pre-race miles this evening.  In the meanwhile, errands and chores.

Marco, Thanks for getting us started today!

Run the mile you are in.

        Go figure

Hey you two. I'd have started the thread earlier but I was just on my iPad. I ran a nice 8 this morning, then hung around for way too long just chatting with the running crew. Now I'm way behind on all my other chores.

Marco...sounds like a good RD. Enjoy the food!

Julia...hope you find some motivation...although it OSA Saturday, so lazy works too.

          Docket...hope it went well!

          Bad Ass

Hi!  10K fail.  I got there, I started, then I missed the division between 5K and 10K.  They did not mark the course so I missed it.  Finished the 5K but did not cross the finish line.  Had a great time, though, and DID NOT PASS OUT!

I did 4 miles in the late afternoon.  I still felt a little slow, but, again I'm thinking it's the heat.  I carbo-loaded on a big plate of spaghetti and did my pre-race ritual of painting my nails.  Next, I'm off to a house party being held by one of my Ragnar teammates.  I figure I'll go early so I can leave early.  I'm looking forward to getting to know them all better, though.

SIAR, Hope you got your chores done.

D_R, That stinks about the course.  I hope you still got to gawk at cute firefighters after the race, though.

Run the mile you are in.

              Bad Ass

Of course!  I was waiting to meet and FE with bobruns from RWOL/RA so I stood at the finish line (very close to the hotties) and took pics of her as she came in.  Double duty!
