      Good morning runners.

I took the day off of work to take care of some domestic duties.  I'm planning 4 or 5 recovery miles today.  Yesterday's run was a mixture of steep hills and rocky trails.  I stumbled over roots twice but didn't fall, then clipped my leg on a log and went down.  I don't think I injured myself but I want to go for a nice easy run today.

      Have a great day all!

          Good Morning,

Scott, have a nice day off from work.

          Damaris, enjoy your rest day.

I just finished up 6.8 on a hilly course.  Need to take it easy tomorrow.

            Go figure

Hey there early risers.  I did 10 this morning with the store owner from my running group.  It was nice to have some good company and a new route to run as well.  Tonight I'm running with the store, and we'll be wearing the Remember Boston race bibs that have been printed.

Scott..It's not a trail run until you go down.  I'm glad you're feeling okay though.  Have a good run today.

              Docket...Have a good rest.

Hill...Nice work on the hills.  Throwing those easy days in there is smart too.

Julia...Have you been extra tired lately?  I hope the 9 weren't too rushed.

Pressing...Great job on the MP miles yesterday.  I think we all question whether or not we can hold MP based on training runs.  Even if you don't hold it the whole time it sure looks like you're heading towards a PR.

                Good morning,

Still have a four hour drive home.  After last night's TM run, I did 4.22 outside this morning.  I could've had easily done twice that which I can't believe this soon afterwards.  I usually have to take 2 or 3 days off.

Scott--could you put me down for Fredericton Marathon 5/12?  I need a redemption race.  Hope you're not too banged up.  I am hoping the weather cooperates for me to work around the house this weekend.

SIAR--Sounds like a full day for you

Everyone else I missed or cross posted-- good morning.

I'm going to do 3-4 miles this AM along with some cross fit.  I really need to sweat out some frustration.  If you aren't on Facebook, then you didn't hear my wonderful rant...

Anyway two days ago, I found out that my son has been having what appears to be absent seizures.  They are getting more frequent and more obvious throughout the last couple of weeks.  We had changed his medicine and thought it was from the medicine, but come to find out it's not the medicine and he may be developing a seizure disorder.  It worries me because he complains of headaches and my SFIL passed away around 12 years ago from a brain tumor.  They are going to do an MRI and EEG again shortly.  My husband is leaving in two weeks for a 6 month deployment.  He will be gone for these tests.  He is my rock as far as this stuff with my son goes.  This is already shaping up to be a tough 6 months...

Jodi...Best of luck with the frustration sweating.  I hope your son is okay and that you guys get through everything.  One day, or even one moment, at a time, right?

Had a good run in to work - 9.2 miles in 8:08 pace. I'm hoping these speedy runs are real gains and not just me going out too fast... I'm a bit on edge today between the ricin and suspicious packages here on The Hill.

Scott, Hope you have a nice easy run and get stuff done.

SIAR I've been staying up late watching t.v. Sad. You did 10 miles before 7:30 - nice.

Jojo, I hope the tests help the doctors figure out what's going on.

CC, Good job getting your workout in.

Julia: Glad you had a nice 9.2 this morning--nice pace. That is scary stuff with the ricin and suspicious letters.

SIAR: Nice 10 this morning, that's good that your group run will be wearing the bibs tonight.

                              CC: Nice workout this morning.

I did make it to the vigil this morning. Got in about 3.5 total on the way there and back. The news was there, and I guess I ended up on TV. http://www.cbsatlanta.com/story/21999018/atlanta-runners

That's me in the blue shirt (and yellow shorts) trying like crazy to keep my candle lit in the breeze in the video clip. I wanted to go to the group run at the store tonight, but I'm just not going to make it, got some stuff I have to work on for tomorrow. May try to squeeze in another quick run around here, but I may not have time, so I might end up doing extra miles tomorrow instead.
