I want to start working out with weights again in the near future. Do any of you do weight training as part of your routine, and do you do a lot with your legs since you run everyday? Do you find that it helps your runs?

I try to do a 30min LB w/o 2-3 times a week. When I was training for my marathon, time wise I had to skip them, but I'm now bringing them back. Feels much better to me. I try to do UB strength (incl. abs) on days I don't do the legs.

Last year I used to do weight training a few times a week. I did lower body stuff but didnt really find that it helped my runs much. I do miss teh upper body stuff - I havent done any weight training since I tore my rotator cuff last year. Ugh.
