      Hiya team!

I'm pretty sure I've seen Saigyo post on the Marathon forums in the fast people thread. He runs massive miles. It doesn't take him very long, thoughSmile

Sorry I've been totally mia.  I'm continuing to be frustrated with ongoing injuries.  PT has me trying to switch to midfoot strike after pain in shins started to shift to one of my knees (nothing like stabbing knee pain to ruin your day).  So now I'm restricted to 2 miles a day every other day until the new gait stops hurting my calves and feels more natural.  Good times.  I'm not a fan of trying to change form, but after a year of trying to manage injuries, I'll give it a go.  I'm hopeful that after 2-3 weeks of very low miles I'll be able to start ramping back up.  But I feel like that's where my heads been for months.

      Dan - that's a speedy mile!

My goal was 20:20. I thought I was going to finish at about 20:10 - 20:15. I failed to do the math in my brain for my 5:25 paced .2 mile kick. I was shocked when I got close enough to see the clock. If the clock would have been a little bigger, I probably would have found the adrenaline to kick a little harder.
