Are we there, yet?
Welcome to a new year Gregorian style. While I don't make resolutions as such, I do set some goals for the year and try to set my basic race schedule and focus. Once again North Coast 24 will be my primary goal race, but this year it will be the 24-Hour race. Along the way I should have some interesting, and hopefully great, experiences, including my first trail ultra. Next on tap is the Clearwater HM on Jan. 19th where I should meet crazyrunninglady and Docket_Rocket.

2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
WTG team. First this week. hipfan is back in the top 10 at #2. Since the list only goes 10 deep it doesn't show John, Lori, and me in 15th, 16th, and 17th. Four in the top 17 sounds pretty good.
If you didn't notice in the Team Changes thread, Dian has dropped from the team and game. We're now down to 11 members and at this point, after being team captain for 4-5 years now, I'm considering stepping down and possibly bowing out as well. I feel I'm spreading myself too thin across the various forums and FB and need to drop something somewhere along the line. Anyone willing to volunteer to take over as captain? The primary responsibility has mainly been to keep the admins appraised of members going on and coming off IR, though I've also tried to keep team threads going in both RW and RA, and welcome new members.
People may not be posting here, but I think this is the second week in a row that we're had no one on the Nag List. It's also an impressive total. We should place well again.
That's 2 for 2 this week for me. Corredores tops the weekly totals well ahead of second after ZooRunners racked up an impressive win in the 2014In2014 game.
Can you believe we've topped the list two weeks in a row now?
For those who aren't on FB and friends with Lori (BerthaSlayer), she finally achieved her long time goal of running sub-5:00 in a marathon.
For anyone who is still reading this, SusanRachel just posted this on the Miles Game Refugees group on FB:
Hey Runners! How are things? This is the last week of posting on the regular miles game. Next week, I will start threads here for each of the teams to post miles. For the first few weeks it won't be a competition - just post miles and stay accountable. We will see how many people from each team continue posting, then figure out where to go from there. Karen, George, and the rest of the captains (anyone have a list of them?), please get that information out to your people.
If any of you are on FB and want to join, please contact me or SR via a post here, PM, or FB.
