| Does this seem odd, or is it just me? (Read 103 times) |

I am also in a user group for a marathon that will be run this May. Often times it helps me to see how other people are training so I can compare their mileage to mine to see if I'm still on track.
Here's the odd part:
I went on the forum and asked someone a question and mentioned that I looked at their log. They answered back a few days later and their running log was no longer public. Do people really care if someone looks at their log???? Personally if I pound out 30+ miles a week it's an accomplishment I'm proud of and if someone wants to read about a chaffing or blister issue I'm having, more power to them.
Does this strike anyone as a little strange? |

| I do think it is a bit odd...but some people are weird about it. I never made my maps public, but have always kept my log public--that way when I ask for advice those giving the advice have a frame of reference. Like you I also like to see what others with similar goals are doing for training and seeing what works and what doesn't relative to different runners. |

| I can certainly understand keeping maps private. There are a lot of weird people out there so I don't need anyone to know my running routes. I guess some people are very sensitive about their stat's. |
