I just checked online and a total of 438 people have registered already. The limit is 2,750 so there's time, but the stupid race is eight months away! I hope I don't have to sign up before I see how badly I damage myself in Green Bay.

I think it closed around mid June last year...GB is in April or May, right? I would think you'd still be safe as long as you were registered before June.

Green Bay is May 18th, so I shouldn't have a problem with registering. I'm just surprised that many people have signed up. I'll probably register right after Green Bay.
Thank God it's finally sort of nice outside. It's in the mid 20's (about 8 degrees below the normal high) but much better than what we've had for the last 3 months. I am planning on running outside tomorrow - I can't wait!!!!! Of course they're predicting 6-8" of snow on Monday night into Tuesday.

Ditto here. This weekend is like a cruel prank.
I ran today without my YakTrax for about the first time in a month...it was heavenly.

Oh, oh..I guess its time to start thinking about signing up. I hate commitments - that means I'm actually going to have to train all summer. If/when I finish Green Bay (in just 30 days - YIKES!
) I'll probably have to get right on the next 18 week plan.
Putting in tons of miles hasn't been so bad, except the my legs feel really tired and I have to keep reminding myself that running is fun every so often.
