Where do you locals and those who have run the race before recommend staying? I'm guessing we'd be staying at least 2 nights in the Milwaukee area. It would be myself, DH, and DS (7)...perhaps some sort of suite set-up with separate living and sleeping space. Someplace with a pool and easy access to the race site would be preferable. Nothing too $$, either. We'd like to keep it maybe ~$50-75/night.

Luckily I haven't had the need to find a hotel in Milwaukee because my wife has never been quite that mad at me yet. If you posted on the forum at badgerland striders website, you'd probably get some good responses. I put the link and instructions on a previous topic.
If you don't get any good suggestions I would be happy to find someplace in the area for you.

Ahhh...good idea. I will definitely check that forum out. I should probably get my ducks in a row pretty soon.
