Hey, how do you find the Mizuno to wear, mileage-wise?
Wait a minute...I just noticed the irony in who I am asking--apparently Mizuno can be a VERY high mileage shoe!

Not that I'm superstitious or anything, but I have certain clothes that I wear during races.
no, no. i understand. thats why i only wear my dark blue long sleeved base layer for fall/winter/early spring races. oh, wait. thats because i only own one long sleeve base layer
haha.
i definitely have clothes that i prefer to race in (although technically tommorow i won't be raciing).. clothes that i feel confident in
hopefully you'll be the only dude with a bright yellow shirt and i'll be able to spot ya! good luck tommorow!

I'm pretty hopeful! Got 2 pair of Mizuno Inspires...I think the larger pair is the better fit, but I will do one more try-on before I go do my run. I think the smaller pair is a hair too small...and asking for blisters and black toenails. The larger pair might be just a tiny bit long, but I can always wear a thicker sock, if need be. Too bad they don't make an 8.25, ha! I had this same issue with a pair of Saucony Progrid Guides (the achilles ended up not being a good fit, but the rest of the shoe was fine). I went with the larger one in that case and it was a good choice.
Nice heel fit, upon initial try-on, though I do still have to do that funny lacing thing on the top...have to do that with all shoes, though. I have dumb feet.
