It looks like you have a solid plan. Not that I'm an expert, but I like that you have a recovery run after the long runs because it really seemed to help me. There's lots of people on RA who've run tons of marathons and say you only need a short taper, but by the time the marathon came around I was pretty beat up and taking a weekend off really kept me fresh for the race.
I'm going to use a modified version of the plan that I used for Green Bay, but I'll add more miles. I think I don't have as many 20+ mile runs as you, but I will be running 6 days a week and (if my body is willing) will top out at about 60 or so miles for my highest weekly mileage total.
I'd show you my plan, but I'm at home now and I've got it on my computer at work. Of course I only look at it when I'm on lunch.

Yeah, someday I want to do the 6 days of running and at least 60 mpw, too. I tried running 6 days/week a while back and I just wasn't ready for it. Plus 5 makes it easier to get cross-training in. I can't use the excuse that I'm already running almost every day.

Its tough to have the time to run 6 days, plus it takes it toll on your body. I was much more sore I was when I added the extra day and didn't feel as "fresh". For me there was also a real difference in how I felt once I consistently ran over 40 mpw.
My wife and I have no kids, so I can be as selfish as I want and not feel guilty about missing a baseball game or soccer practice.

Yeah, that no kid thing would make a difference. Right now I'm trying to figure out what days/week we'll have Dane do Summer camp at his old day school. No way I can get my long runs in before it gets too hot, otherwise. I do look forward to the day when I can go run for 3-4 hours and leave him home alone safely. He's 7, so maybe in another year or two.

I do now!!
I'll be using a slightly modified version of yours. So glad you put all the work into the plan, as this restaurant is giving me no time to so much as breathe lately!! I did get 8 miles in last night though & hope to do 5-6 with Adria tonight.

I'll probably use one of the Hal Higdon training plans but haven't decided for sure yet.. I guess I should figure that out soon.

Wow, Jeff...how many marathons have you done prior? How long have you been running? What sort of base are you able to maintain in the worst of Winter? I can't even fathom running the sorts of miles in your plan. Damn!

That's pretty similar to my DIY plan, Chris. I sort of cobbled something together using Higdon Int. 2, Glover, Pfitz, and a plan in a recent Her Sports + Fitness magazine. I sort of grabbed the common things to the plans and worked them around my life and other races and things.
