I live in Wayne County. How do I go about finding a local running partner or group?

As a start check out the following link and see what clubs are near you. You could also check with some of the clubs a little further away (say Raleigh, Fayetteville, Wilmington, etc.) and see if they have any members near you.

Other ideas:

- check with the local YMCA to see if they have any members looking for running partners

- see if you can put up a note at a local sporting goods store (Dick's, etc.)

- ask the local fitness clubs if they have anyone that would like to run
