I just got a new 5K PR last weekend down in Myrtle Beach (what a flat course!) and am already thinking about when I'm going to race next. I think perhaps the Run for the Oaks on Mar 17. Anyone here going to run that one?

I'm doing Run for the Oaks and the Wake Med Distance Festival http://www.runnc.com/Sites/7/results/rotary1003.html in March.

There's also the Great Human Race in Durham http://www.thevolunteercenter.org/ghr/ that month.

Then in April, there's the Cary Road Race http://www.townofcary.org/depts/prdept/events/crr.htm.

That's awesome on your MB PR! I was there too and I PR'd in the HM. Love that course. It was 26 degrees that morning so the symbolism was perfect. The water stops were a sheet of ice though, from everyone pouring out their half-full cups onto the road.

Almost forgot, there's also the Coach Bubba race this Saturday. I hope to be there. I'm in St. Louis right now and my flight doesn't get back until pretty late Friday, but if I'm awake, I'm going to be there. http://www.coachbubba.com/
