Benjamin Hannas (16:39) and Kristen Chemas (19:44) won the overall titles in the 5K. Since this was a new course, both of those performances are the course records. The start/finish area is at Crossroads Fellowship which is located at 2721 East Millbrook Road in Raleigh. Timing will be with the ChampionChip. The one-mile run begins at 8:30 a.m. The 5K starts at 9:00 a.m. The entry fees for the 5K are $15, if entry fee is received or postmarked NLT September 1 and $20 thereafter, up to and including race day. The entry fees for the one-mile run are $10 and $15, respectively. All entrants can also order a t-shirt for an additional $5. In the mile, awards will be given to the first three boys and girls in each of the following age divisions: 8-under, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14. In the 5K, the first three males overall and the first three females overall will gift certificates to Athlete’s Foot. Awards will also be presented to the first three finishers in each of the following age divisions: (both sexes) 12 - under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-over.
