River City Runners of Louisville

I have returned from Panama (Read 166 times)

To increase my chances of success in a November race to be mentioned not, I ran once in the last 10 days.  It was a long run.  5 miles on an island.  I like it best when viewed from satellite.  In seriousness, I had a nightmare about said race while staying on said island.  It wasn't about the race per se, but I did see flying monkeys in the dream immediately after someone mocked me for fearing a witch after we both saw someone ride through the sky on a bike.

In related news, lodging, food, taxis, beer, common goods, and wine were very cheap.  Electronics, not so much.  Luckily I wasn't shopping for a toaster or computer.  Most of the people were excellent and friently and helpful.  I only fought with two cab drivers and was not mugged even once!

MTA:  Neat - there is a plane on the runway!  That runway is empty most of the day.  Given the location of the plane it was either taking off or landing too which makes it even more rare.  Okay, carry on.
