Long run Sept 27 (Read 329 times)

No, bdub, you'll have to close the gap by yourself.

If you ran with me, the gap couldn't be closed.  I was trying to help you.  I still have a headache from the Frankfort Ave Trolley Hop last night btw, thanks for asking.

Hey - I did see Michael S. out and about by chance.  We had a few drinks.  He is doing well.

Except that I probably would have bowed out myself...  Had an interesting long run today though.

          1 or 2?

MTA:  I think I see it now.  30 minute hiccup?  Good job on toughing out the second half dude.  Those runs aren't always the most fun but teach us much.

MTA:  Okay - still a good run.  *That* is a hell of a maze / area to be sure.  But when you say you ended up on Speed I hope you mean the avenue and not a substance.  Long runs and amphetamines are not necessarily healthy.

I split them up b/c I stopped to talk to the family and other Filipinos @ Seneca Park for 15 minutes or so, then I got brutalized by getting lost in the Cherokee-Seneca Park connection.  I was SO close to finding the scenic loop, only to end up on Speed instead.

I met Emily @ the Filipino gathering in Seneca after running from Fern Creek.  She was headed to the Irish fest @ Bellarmine, so I decided I'd just continue my run to there, catching a little Cherokee park.

Unfortunately, I seemed to catch most of the hills in the park, and stopping to chat was really bad for my muscles and momentum.
