Opinion's on Memphis Marathon requested.

Don't know much about it except several people in and around Elizabethtown are msking it their first marathon. From what I remember of Memphis it is quite hilly in spots but I have never ran the marathon.

Memphis Marathon is pretty flat except for the stretches to and away from the river and a 3-4 mile stretch in the last third of the race that is at a very slight, but constant, uphill.
It's one of my favorite mid-sized races, along with Flying Pig.
The second half of the race is a bit of an afterthought, much like KDF has been in years past. It slightly beats Indy Monumental.
