Hey all, does anyone know when links and registrations will be available for the Hangover Classic? I have never ran it and think I'd like to try this year. Also, what about the Lovin the Hills 15 miles, certainly not ready for the 50 yet.
BTW can you still register for the Siltstone Half in the trail series? I have an entry form, but I d on't know who to ask about making sure it is still open? And dos anyone know where the Waverly 7-miler on Halloween is at? Thanks all.
I have sent an inquiry to the Hangover Classic folks, but haven't heard back yet. I'll post here again when I do. I enjoyed that race last January, and hope to run it again.
The Waverly run is in Waverly Park, 4800 Waverly Park Road (near Arnoldtown Road and Clayton Terrace). I'm on Trick or Treat duty, so I will miss that one.
No idea about Siltstone. But apparently you can contact a Jim Ball or Tim Barnes at 502-423-1545.
Not sure about LLTH - they rarely update their sites, as far as I can tell.

I'll be interested in hearing about the HOC also. Can you still consider it a Hangover Classic if you stay up all night and are still drunk when you show up? just wonderin'....
I guess that depends on your definition of a hangover,,, Maybe you should call it the Wobbly Classic
All I know is that some of you all better help me out, because there were way too many people taking the race waaaay too seriously last year. I was definitely hung over, and when they asked the crowd I was the only one who raised their hand. Everyone I talked to was like "You really drank last night?" uh, doy? It's freakin' new years eve!
meh
No rush to sign up for the Hangover. I usually wait until December sometime.
Lovin' the Hills flyers will likely be at the packet pickup for Hangover.

Last year it was about 20 degrees for the HOC, but very bright and sunny as I recall.
I wasn't terribly hungover for whatever reason last year. NYE is my wife's birthday (like, every year even!) which always screws with our itineraries.
Anyway, I passed several runners puking off to the side of the course, so you weren't alone skoots.
MTA: I think that's where I met Strings. At least, formally, after getting beaten (Stringed? Strung Out?) by him at the Sprint and Stroll 5k a month earlier.
Thanks for the info strings. I am really thinking it may be a good run, but I do HATE cold.
The taste of the blood coming from your lungs is quite breathtaking, I assure you.
We've Got Big Hills
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
That sounds like the Thanksgiving day race. I always cough blood, or so it feels like.
Did you get a second opinion, though?
I am well aware of the hack and spit blood issue. Breathtaking indeed.
This happened to me as well. I think it was the residual lactic acid from the monkey working its way out of the system.
