As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

I don't know what to pick for my goal marathon next fall. Options are Chicago, Richmond, or Philly. I'm thinking Richmond since it's new and ends downhill, but Chicago is just so fast and flat but the weather is so iffy. I'll figure it out before Chicago registration opens.
Right now, I am aiming for sub 1:45 at the Shamrock half in March.
Rotterdam April 14 . Goal sub 4.
Oslo RnR 1/2 June 15. Goal ?? maybe sub 1:45 if Rotterdam and training go well
I'll be doing shorter stuff too, but I don't know what yet. I do know I'll be doing a trail relay on January 19-the Relais Givres-8km each and then a group lap of 4km.

Dreamn, I highly recommend Richmond. The course is pretty fast; the weather is a better bet; the logistics are easy; its organized well and the fan support is really good for a mid-size. After almost 10 years, its still my PR, and I've run some courses that are flatter than Chicago.
Thanks bago! I've been leaning more toward Richmond! I've heard such great things about it. i booked a hotel but not the race yet, will probably make it a definite in the very near future .
Dreamn- never ran Richmond, but LOVED Philly ...that said, move up in corralling if you're back too far. I didn't and was definitely stuck in a pack for awhile.
