At my gym the treadmills are much busier than the pool.

What I really like about it is, anybody can run, and while I'm probably a slow swimmer, not everybody can swim. When I hit the end of the lap and spin around for another lap there is voice in my head that says, "you are amazing."

Bugs - If you can swim, you are amazing!  I've only been "swimming" for about 1 year.  I put swimming in quotes because I can only do so with the aid of a snorkel.  Also it takes me about 40 seconds to go the 25m length of the gym pool!  I'd really like to improve, go faster and be able to do so w/o the snorkel.
