waterproof mp3? (Read 99 times)

You Are Beautiful.

does anyone use a waterproof mp3 player in the water? i've been thinking about buying one but i don't want to drop $100-200, I'm thinking more like $50. i worry it might make me lose count of my laps. but it might also make the time pass faster.

I know this is a really old thread, but I'm thinking of buying a waterproof mp3 player more for pool running than swimming. I just killed my mp3 player Sad when my waterproof pouch developed a frayed earphone cord that allowed water to flood it. Drat. It made pool runs much more tolerable. Anyway, I'm vacillating between Fitness Technologies UwaterG4 4GB Waterproof MP3 Player and the FINIS SwiMP3 X18 MP3 Player.

      Any thoughts?

I still need to figure out how to best setup the waterproof earphones. Currently using the Pyle with the large buds.  The wire tends to get tugged on, so I someimtes lose sound in one of the ear buds.
