Trail Monster
I tried Umstead last year and really enjoyed it. I did 57 miles but blisters were eating up my feet in the rain so I dropped and still got credit for the 50 miler. Since you know you can do 50 I would go (SLOW!) and see if you can't set a new distance PR and/or finish!
2013 races:
3/17 Shamrock Marathon
4/20 North Coast 24 Hour
7/27 Burning RIver 100M
8/24 Baker 50M
10/5 Oil Creek (distance to be determined)

I've only done two 100s...I recall my feelings before the start of the first 100 that I was underprepared. I think back now and if I waited until I was prepared I might have never started the race.
+1. Also, it is a shame that they give you credit for the 50 if you drop. That just makes it harder to finish the 100.
