My only quibble is the implication that the woman interviewed is a non-competitive mid-packer -- she often wins the masters group, and not infrequently places pretty high.  She has fun, but she certainly isn't uninterested in winning.  

There is 1st place and last place and everyone else is a mid-pack jogger
