Perfesser seems to be taking a break; he has been at 107 for a while now.

He's still at 107. Presumably he's retired. Anyone hear anything from him?

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Yeah. "100.7 miles, 22:54. Finally punched my "100 Miles in one day" ticket."

                  Also

"We are done, the tendons started rebelling after the 100 mile point so 106 [sic] is all for now."

Mrs. Perfesser was also running the 48-hour, as her first(!) ultra. She stopped at 52, which I gather was the goal.

Looks like WG had a decent night.  If she can keep moving she may have a shot at top female, it appears she is leading the remaining female runners.  Go WG!

                            Imminent Catastrophe

Hey everyone, thanks for following. I got my 100 mile PR and 100 in 24 (my #1 goal) then  took a nap and a few hours off.  I have a 100k in a couple of weeks so didn't want to do some damage. Once I started up again I had some  knee and achilles problems and just put in a few slow laps while DW "Mary Ann" finished her first ultra with 52 miles. I feel pretty good about it. Wrigley looked pretty uncomfortable yesterday but looks like she's rebounded nicely. Good showing by Georgia peeps too.

                                Running is dumb.
