First 50 mi
yep lesson learned! I guess there's no point in running 50 miles if you're not going to learn something along the way. I'm glad I learned it prior to jumping into a hundred.
As for that guy, who knows. He was definitely the type of person that doesn't mesh well in society, worked in a male dominated environment, lacking social skills. I didn't want to hang around and learn if he was a sociopath or just enjoyed trying to get a rise out of people. I think he was going for the shock factor.
