Consistently Slow

Thanks. We have have a mini van.May sleep in it if possible. Had not considered cooking or a campfire. A barbecue grill could work.

Run until the trail runs out.

Some areas will not allow open fires.  Also, firewood can be a pain to find and trying to cook in crappy weather is no fun.  The MSR Pocket Rocket is $39.  You just need to attach it to a fuel canister (they are cheap and available at outdoor stores and large sporting good chains).  You can't cook up a slab of ribs or go camp gourmet with it, but it cooks up the basics.  I really love it because I can use it in the morning in a tent vestibule to heat up water for oatmeal and coffee.

If what you are cooking basically involves heating up water and then mixing with something, the following is pretty sweet.
