I love running in open country and some of our desert runs have been
among the best of our roadside stops.

I want to do it because I want to do it. -Amelia Earhart
From MDS website:
Meghan, who also benefited from the retirement of the French runner Laurence Klein (double titleholder and winner of the first three legs) on the long leg, gave herself every chance of securing the trophy. “For the past six months, I’ve been running everyday in the desert where I live in Utah. I also arrived in Morocco two weeks earlier to properly acclimatise. Since 2009, I’d been hungry for this victory. I wanted this win.”
2013 H1: 7 hours/week base. Q3: Train for goal race. Q4: Goal Race.
