    Anyone?

Getting pumped about starting with headlights with 400 other idiots.

I still get excited about the adventure of the 50 mile race.

I'll be there and hoping to keep from being pushed too hard by the time cutoffs.  It does sound like an adventure from the race reports I've read.

Ran it last year as my first 50.  It was a great race, so well organized, incredibly beautiful course...hard as hell.  It was shortly after hurricane Sandy last year and there was a good bit of snow on miles 35 to 48 of the course.  There was a bunch of running in the single track snow trail of the people in front of you on top of what was probably single track trail.  Also, the host hotel was really nice especially given how cheap it was.  Pre and Post race dinners were a lot of fun.  Really I don't have anything negative to say about the whole event, I had a great time.  Good luck!

Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul.
