I think I need to start logging some other stuff. I am bad about sleep. I think I want to start paying attention to that. There was a Hansons guy that used to log his naps and rate their quality. It was pretty funny stuff.

Hm. I've known 7mi to be swam in a day, but not 14mi. And not by me.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
I am going for 14 or more this Saturday -
12 pints = 192 ounces divided by 12 = 16 beers of the 5.5% of > variety.
Last year I tried to sprint on the beer (90 minutes of less) and was nearly passed out after 10. This year, I will take my time and work relentlessly toward my goal ... even if it takes 7 hours. Then call a cab for the ride to the hotel!
I suppose this is some sort of carb loading for the ultra. But are you carb loading before it, or afterward?
