Looks like The Gumbee is going to get 48-65 and partly cloudy for his 150 miles (16 loops around a lake you can't see).  Good news for Gumbee.

Meanwhile, the night-time volunteers have been wishing for a bit more summer-like weather.  That would be me.

Should we experience a sudden heat wave, I know one thing.  The race won't get called.

How was Sun Mountain?  I considered doubling, but I'm glad I did not.

Chris emailed the prelim results as an excel spreadsheet.  I could get all creative and upload it somewhere.  But I won't.

I could also email it to you.

Sun Mtn was nice. Happy with how I did on only 3 hrs of sleep. Smile Pretty good day for a run too, a bit overcast and cool.

      Nice job at Watershed!

Still thinking about Wonderland trail in June.

          How about you?

             Congrats.

I'll see you at the Piggly Wiggly this weekend!

Do you think the Wonderland is doable in June with snow levels? I have no idea. I am planning some "runs" around Muir in June and early July.

Signed up for my first ultra a couple weeks ago--ORRRC's Dawg Gone Long Run, Caesar Creek State Park, Waynesville, Ohio.  June 30th.

                    Goal:  Avoid disaster.

Congrats.  How long would this long run be?

                          Fifty miles.

Am I allowed to put him down (and force him to run) 125 miles for not telling me, or should I go easy on him since he is a virgin?  Wink

Insanity took over.  Signed up for another one.

Blame it on my attempting to post during work. While I would like to do a 100 (or more) miler some day, go easy on me for now.

Yes, I'm being a bad teacher.  Three days left, grades already submitted.  Looking more or less like I'm working....but don't tell my kids the truth.
