            Well, the 50 miler didn't scare me away, though I won't lie--I'd be pleased if it wasn't quite so hot for my next ultra.  Which is...

             

            9/22.  rgilbert, Hocking Hills Indian Run 60k,  Logan, OH.

                I was supposed to run my FIRST 24 this Saturday and on a whim I signed up for a 50k...just a measly 6 miles, or 10 above my other training runs to date. I'm either going to be inspired and motivated to do better, regardless of the outcome, or ...who knows, I'm not entirely sure. It's just a training run, no pace goal, I'm excited.                   you guys forgot to tell me how much fun a trail ultra would be!  I had a blast.  I've done marathons and vowed to never do another, and yet beyond 26 miles is all I can think about now.

                                I'm likely pushing my limits with two marathons, two 50k and two 50mi in six months since I had never run more than 26.2.
