Hi everybody, I'm new to the group.
I've been running five years, finished three marathons and several dozen half marathons and other distances. I ran my first 50k back in the spring and have another one coming up in two weeks. Goals are to do a 50-miler early next year and then eventually a 100-miler. (no timeframe on that)
Looking forward to learning from you guys!

Hello everyone! Another refugee from RWOL. Been running long distance since 2007 and ran my first ultra in 2009. Since then I've run a slew of 50Ks, a handful of 50-milers and 1.9 100-milers (finished Javelina in 2011, DNF'd Rocky Raccoon after 90 miles). I'll be returning to RR to get that monkey off my back, plus am planning on running the Cascade Crest 100 in August.
Thanks!
RunJasonRun from RWOL checking in.
The basic summary of my running history is 16 marathons and 22 ultramarathons since 2009. I completed my first ultramarathon, Pine Mountain 40, in late 2009, and have been ultraslothing across finish lines ever since. I completed Pinhoti 100 as my first 100-miler three weeks ago, and Umstead 100 is next up on my hundo list.
It's good to see some familiar faces here.

Hey Jason!
I am yet another RWOL refugee. No events for me last year...hopefully that will change in 2013!

I used to weigh almost 400 pounds back in 2004. I lost 185 pounds in 2005, then fluctuated for years between 200 and 275 pounds between 2006 and 2011, depending on my commitment to diet and lifestyle. In early 2012, I started following the Paleo Diet lifestyle and am now hovering between 175 and 185 pounds. It's a good feeling!
Nice work, Jason! (Another Paleo pal here. )
Another new one here
Ran my first ultra last May...the Silver State 50/50, did the 50K and enjoyed the hell out of it
Probably going the run the American Canyon 50K in Feburary and am considering the 50M in May at the Silver State 50/50
What was nice was that as I lined up for my first ultra....I saw nobody clowning around, no corrals and noone wearing stupid outfits!

Wow! Congratulations, Jason!
I'm just starting to get into this long stuff.
Are you or PerfesserR doing Bartram 100's by chance?

Welcome all.
Hi all! Glad I found this forum. I'm new to the RA forums and to ultra running, so I'll be on here a lot to soak in the knowledge and expertise from everyone. I have a few ultras scheduled for next year: Land Between the Lakes 60k, 3 Days at the Fair 24 hour, and North Coast 24 hour.
Look forward to getting to know folks here and learning a lot!
Jen
Uh oh... now what?
Great, I've screwed up already. New? Refugee? Where first?
Oh well... Hello. I live on an island in the Pacific NW and run
some, mostly on trails--exRWOL.

Is that John who did the Camino? Good to see you! I didn't post much over in RWOL, and I don't post much here, but welcome.
