	'Cause it's my birthday month and I say so! What's everyone say to the Highlands...? Pick your Scottish Highland locale of choice. Some suggestions include Loch Ness/Urquhart Castle, Hebrides, Skye, Aberdeen, etc. k

	I'll be running in a village named OldMeldrum (few miles west of Aberdeen). Not sure if the village was named after my family (Meldrum) or if our family name came from the Village. Here is a link to where I'll be running http://www.oldmeldrum.org.uk/

	I'm new to RA, so I'm not quite sure how these virtual races work yet, but it sounds like fun , so count me in. I'm going to run a HM from Bridge of Orchy to Kingshouse. And I really want to beat this guy

	In the spirit of this race, I think we should all pick hilly courses. It's the Scotish Highlands afterall!

	I'm going to run a fast flat 10k, so i'll be hard-pushed to find anywhere that flat for that distance in bonny Scotland! Maybe i'll run round the bottom of Ben Nevis

	I am going to try to run my first 5 mile virtual race in Feb. I'm confident that I can drag my kilt around that long. I will pretend that I am running to and from the bar [below] for five miles. See below for Tennent's Pub in Glasgow, where Tennent's Lager comes from.

I shall stay local and run in the fabulous surrounds of Balmedie as I'm lucky enough to have this natural wonder two minutes walk out the door Cool

Hammerbeck- That pick of Tennents Bar looks suspiciously like the the corner of Byres Road and University Avenue if my memory serves me correctly!! Uni: young, free, no bills, full head of hair!! Sigh!! Wink
