New Form for submitting times - starts now with May Race! (Read 808 times)

Hello, Virtual Racers! The May race is upon us, and Daddyo (aka Dave), our guest race director, has created a new form for you to submit your race results on. Instead of using my geocities page, please go instead to http://www.daddyo.ca/running-ahead/race-entry.php and fill out that form instead. Results will be compiled by Daddyo on the site. For now, old race results are still available at http://www.geocities.com/yanelh/past_results.html. We will be switching results and profiles over to Dave's site in the coming weeks. Good luck everyone and happy racing! Janell

      Very cool!!! THANK YOU DADDYO!!!!

Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson

Woot! Got any fourth or maybe fifth place medals laying around?

It's not the heat, it's the stupidity.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

No, but if you ask Kirsten/Zoom-zoom real nice she may be willing to make you one. She made all the rest... Big grin

Good luck with all the Virtual Races this weekend. Remember the new link for race entries - http://www.daddyo.ca/running-ahead/race-entry.php The site was built pretty quickly...Wingz and I have been bug testing it for the last couple days and it seems ok. Otherwise, email me at daddyo@daddyo.ca if you have any issues. and, as always...HAVE FUN!
Hey DaddyO! Thanks for the site revamp! And can you change the time I submitted on my 5 miler yesterday to 46:06? I entered Garmin time yesterday, but this number is the official time. Or I can resubmit and you can delete one?

                        Riot: Act VIII - Reboot

Are the race distances included the only one's we have the ability to input? I ran a 4-mile race yesterday. No big deal if it can't be done. Cool

Drew, these are the pre decided pre determined distances that have been around for the last couple of virtual year. That said, ubless anyone objects, we can add other distances. thoughts?

I'm still interested in adding a 20K race... If we decided not to add new races could we use McMillan's Running Calculator and submit the projected time of the closest race? Examples: ( If I were to race a 20K in 1:30:00 then I would submit a 1/2 marathon time of 1:34:59, or if I ran 4 miles in 33:00 minutes then I would submit a 5 mile time of 41:49.) What does everyone think?
