Lucy Baxter has dementia and it's so sad to see him not be his old self. We have to give him a pill to tranquilize him. He can't walk on the leash anymore. He bumps into things or he'll get stuck. He can't find his food bowl we have to place it right by his nose. And the thing is he's not in any physical pain. It's his mind thats off. So are we being selfish to keep him longer for us.? It's gotten to be a full time job as he's not a dog with special needs. I wouldn't change it any other way, but his quality of life is definitely not pleasant. So then C and I are think of what else to do and neither one us is ready to let him go.
I forgot to say Baxter is turning 14 in August.

busy day here! so quick check in. No personals!
RR: nothing. I forgot to turn my alarm on. and tonight is just crazy busy. so oh well
NRR: work, meetings, work, meetings.... getting more bad weather today boo that. ... and 2 hours later I continue to post.... sheesh. just back from another meeting. another one at 4. talk about no productivity.
