Trepidation Thursday - Supermoms (Read 17 times)

I'm late today - I'll try to get back for personals but I haven't had lunch yet and I'm starving!

RR - hoping to run a 5 mile loop tonight while DD3 has swim practice.  Had a tennis match this morning so at least got some exercise in.

BR - I might die from his cuteness.  His vocabulary is exploding and his little phrases are adorable.

KR - DD2 has her annual appt with the Rett specialist in Chicago this weekend.  Sucks to drive 6+ hours there and back in one weekend but it's so close to spring break DH doesn't want to take any more days off work.  Dropping the other kids off at DH's sisters' houses along the way so at least they won't have to sit in the car all weekend.

FR - zucchini noodles and shrimp, another skinnytaste recipe.  I seem to only cook off her website lately.

NRR - need to finish our taxes.  We made a ton of contributions to Goodwill type places last year because of  moving and I need to enter all that in.  Totally unmotivated to sit at the computer that long to do it, but I really need to get it done today since we'll be gone this weekend.

Zorbs- I have been doing deadlifts- I did 75 lbs last week, but just did 65 lbs this week because there was a lot of dudes in the gym and using teeny plates I like to set up on top of those aerobics step boxes so the bar isn't down by my ankles. I've just been doing dumbbell chest presses because of A) the spotter issue B) my upper body was really weak so the bar was too heavy to start with- though I should try it now!

RG- I don't mind the builder showing the house, we offered. And its not really the same as a real estate showing, I'm not trying to sell my house- he just uses it as an example of a layout and certain finishes/features.

armama- Well at least you are within driving distance and don't have to fly to see her specialist every time. Good luck on your taxes, I have gotten a bunch of calls from people with last minute requests for info.

arm - have a good run tonight.  How do you like this specialist compared to the one in Bham?  Glad you don't have to drag all the kids with you to Chicago.  Too bad you couldn't spend some time there relaxing.  I have never been to Chicago, but it is definitely on my list of places to visit!  I was trying to remember the name of the sinnytaste website the other day, thanks for the reminder!

eh - it's the same doctor we saw in Birmingham, they do traveling clinics a couple weekends/year so they can reach more families!  Chicago is great!  We took the kids 6 years ago, that was fun.  It was also fun when DH and I were there for the marathon a few years ago.
